I didn’t realize until I took them out that I was basically shouting counts for a solid half hour 😅. I haven’t had swelling near my vocal folds in a LONG TIME. So out comes the silent rehearsal slide. I haven’t had to use it yet at this school, but so far so good. I have 4 ensembles today, so it’s not great timing 🙃. Basically point and go! Typically my strongest sight singers are the instrumentalists in my advanced choirs, but these non band and orchestra kids have been crushing it these past few weeks!
